Every time a freelance platform brings in new investors, something changes about how it treats the people who actually do the work on it. Fees go up, rules get stricter, and support often seems to slow down after that. It looks like the platform starts caring more about profit than about the freelancers who helped build its name in the first place. Do you think investor pressure is the real reason platforms keep changing their policies so often these days?

Yeah sometimes it feels like they do. Investors want growth and profit fast so platforms push fees ads and rules that favor big clients. That can squeeze freelancers on rates and visibility. But investors also fund tools and safety features. So influence is real it's just a trade-off between money and freelancer freedom.
