Most freelancers do not think about what happens to client files once a job is done, but it is actually something worth paying attention to. Some platforms give general guidance about data handling, but they rarely spell out exact rules on how long you should keep files or where you should store them. The client contract or NDA usually covers this more clearly. How do you personally handle client files after a project ends?
