Ask Can the geography of the student purchasing BMF.io courses influence payments due the instructor?

BMF.io doesn't seem to change how much instructors get paid based on where the student is from. There's nothing on their site or in forums saying payments depend on student location. Some platforms like Udemy do that , they have different pricing for different countries, which can affect what instructors earn. But BMF.io doesn't seem to do that, or at least they haven't said so publicly.

Most likely, your payment just depends on whatever deal you worked out with your BMF.io contact. Unless it's something hidden in a private contract, where the student lives probably doesn't matter much for your pay.

I don't think on BMF, location of the students determines the price to be paid for the courses, however, the location of the students can easily determine the payment method that can be made use of on the platform. Payment on courses are always uniform for the students regardless of location.

Even though it's an online course, where the student lives can change a few things behind the scenes. Some countries add taxes like VAT, so part of the payment gets taken out. Payment apps or banks might also charge extra fees if money is crossing borders or getting converted into another currency. That can slightly reduce what ends up in the instructor's pocket.
