Ask Can people change from being gamblers to addicts?

Many gamblers can become addicts over time. Initial enjoyment can lead to increased risk-taking. Players may start gambling more frequently. This can create a cycle of dependency. Emotional factors often play a role in addiction. Stress and anxiety can drive people to gamble more. Losses can lead to chasing after wins. This behavior increases the likelihood of addiction. Support systems are crucial for those struggling. Friends and family can help recognize the signs. Professional help is available for those in need. Understanding the risks is essential for prevention. Change is possible with awareness and support.

The problem with gambling is that it goes against the premise of Entrepreneurship which is create value and get paid in relative to the value you created, gambling is merely speculating a particular event will happen but what a lot of gamblers miss is that, no one can predict correctly over a long period of time.

You didn't create any value rather you just speculated, and winning makes you feel confident and take on more risk or makes you gamble more and that's where most people get addicted.
