Ask Can old content that performed well before be updated and rank well again on Google today?

Old content can definitely rank again if the topic still matters and the information is refreshed properly. Many pages lose rankings because competitors publish newer articles with better explanations and updated examples. I actually think updating older successful content is sometimes smarter than constantly writing brand new posts nobody has seen before. Older articles may already have trust, backlinks, and search history working in their favor. Improving them can bring results faster than starting from zero. Content does not always fail because the topic became bad. Sometimes it only needs fresh information and clearer structure. So do you think updating old content is now more valuable than creating endless new articles?
