I'm a bit confused about this whole payment setup. I've been running my Shopify store for a few weeks and I'm still not sure which option makes the most sense. I keep going back and forth between the settings trying to figure it out.

I activated Shopify Payments during the initial setup. I also checked out a few third-party gateways to compare their fees and payout times. I even tried adding PayPal just to see how it would work with the store.

Everything seems fine on paper though I can't decide which direction to take. Can I use Shopify Payments or third-party gateways?

Shopify Payments is the super easy route since it's already built in, takes like two minutes to set up, and you don't get hit with extra fees. Plus, it handles all the big payment options like credit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, so checkout feels really smooth. But if you prefer something like PayPal or another provider you've used before, that's fine too. Just note that it might take a bit more setup

Both Shopify Payments and third-party gateways have their pros and cons, so it ultimately depends on your specific business needs and preferences. Shopify Payments is convenient, integrates seamlessly, and offers competitive rates with no additional transaction fees. It supports popular payment methods, providing a streamlined checkout experience for customers.

You can use Shopify Payments or third-party gateways, and many stores actually use a combination. Shopify Payments is usually the simplest option because it integrates fully, has lower transaction fees, and supports multiple payment methods like credit cards and Apple Pay. Third-party gateways like PayPal or Stripe can be added alongside it, which is helpful if some customers prefer them or if you sell internationally. The best approach is to use Shopify Payments as your main processor for convenience and cost-effectiveness, and enable popular third-party options to give your customers flexibility and build trust.

It's great that you've explored different payment options for your Shopify store. Using Shopify Payments as your primary gateway has its benefits, such as easy integration, competitive rates, and support for various payment methods. Additionally, incorporating third-party gateways like PayPal can offer additional payment options for customers who prefer those services, potentially expanding your customer base and improving checkout flexibility.

You just turn it on, and everything runs straight through your Shopify dashboard. It also tends to be cheaper because Shopify usually doesn't add extra transaction fees when you use it. Third-party options like PayPal or Stripe are also solid. They're handy if Shopify Payments isn't available where you are, or if you want to give customers more ways to pay. The only catch is Shopify may charge extra fees if you don't use their own system.

It's great that you're exploring different payment options for your Shopify store! Shopify Payments is indeed convenient as it's integrated into the platform, making setup and management easy. It offers competitive rates and supports major payment methods, enhancing the checkout experience for your customers. On the other hand, third-party gateways like PayPal can offer familiarity to customers who prefer using that service.

You can use Shopify Payments or go with a third-party gateway. Shopify Payments is their own built-in system. If you're in a supported country, it's kind of a no-brainer. But hey, if you wanna use something else like PayPal, Stripe, or Authorize.net, go for it. Just a heads-up: Shopify will hit you with a small extra transaction fee unless you're on a pricey plan. And some third-party checkouts feel a bit clunky. You do you. Just make sure Shopify actually allows it first. No biggie either way.

It seems like you have done a thorough review of your payment options for your Shopify store, which is fantastic! Both Shopify Payments and third-party gateways have their advantages and it really boils down to what suits your business model and preferences best. Using Shopify Payments is straightforward and seamlessly integrated with your store, offering competitive rates and supporting various payment methods.

It looks like you have considered various payment options for your Shopify store, including Shopify Payments and third-party gateways. Shopify Payments is a convenient choice due to its easy integration, competitive rates, and support for popular payment methods. On the other hand, third-party gateways like PayPal offer additional flexibility for customers who prefer those options.

If Shopify is available in your country it is best you it because it supports both Shopify payments and third party gateways without extra transaction fees, integrates cleanly, and pays out directly to your bank. But if it is not available in your country you can use third-party gateways like PayPal or Stripe.
