While there is nothing bad in this, but we need to know how to construct ourselves not to make ourselves look less respectful. You can ask your clients to showcase your works or even ask them to give you positive reviews for others to know about you. Doing this will go a long way in promoting yourself as a freelancer. This is better than asking directly for promotion from your clients. It will make you look cheap. What do you think about this?
