Working with nonprofits or government bodies is something a lot of freelancers never think about, but it is a space that actually has consistent demand for skilled independent workers. The processes involved can be longer and more detailed than working with a regular private client, and payment timelines are sometimes slower. That said, the contracts can be stable and the work can be quite meaningful depending on the sector. Has anyone here worked with this type of client, and was it worth the extra steps?
