I am a freelance brand designer and I am tired of losing to cheaper bids. I am starting calls by repeating the client's goals in my own words and asking what success looks like in 90 days. I am taking notes on their tone budget and timeline before I pitch any style. I am also summarizing their pain points back to them in the proposal so it feels heard. I am testing this on 5 leads this month.

Do question I want to ask you guys is that Can freelance creators use active listening to win projects instead of undercutting price? Thank in advance
