I feel a little lost about privacy policies right now. I thought having a basic terms and conditions page was enough. Then I read somewhere that privacy policies are actually a legal requirement in many cases.
I run an online store that sells fashion accessories. I already set up the checkout system and added secure payment options. I also wrote simple guidelines for returns and shipping.
Still, I am not sure if leaving out a privacy policy could cause problems. Can failing to include a privacy policy on an online store lead to legal penalties?
