Ask Can a freelancer be held responsible if a client misuses the delivered work?

This is something that does not get talked about enough in freelancing circles. Once you complete a job and hand over the files, you usually lose control over how the client uses that work. If the client takes the content and uses it in a way that causes legal problems, the question of who carries the blame becomes complicated. Some contracts have clauses that protect freelancers, but most beginners never think to include them. Have you ever thought about what would happen if a client misused something you delivered?
