Starting a business is not as easy as making such a business grows. There are different things that have to be put in place before businesses can grow. Some of these include marketing and advertising. Marketing would involve all the activities of startinga business to making it known to the people.

However, does that mean all businesses must be marketed before the success of such a business? The answer is yes. There must be a form of marketing before a business can become successful.
 
Business cannot grow except there is a form of marketing. Making the people know what you sell and as well making them having what they really want in your products. A business that wants to grow will keep to take a business marketing very serious in order to achieve this.
 
Some places get by on word-of-mouth or just having a product people love. Like, a tiny bakery with insanely good pastries might get popular because people keep telling their friends. But without marketing, you're mostly stuck with local customers or whoever happens to find you. Marketing just helps you reach way more people and stand out from the crowd. So, sure, growth without it is possible, but it's limited.
 
Marketing is the key of any business. Most times, all businesses need to be marketed before it can be successful. Marketing goes beyond creating awareness. It entails making sure that the audience find it easier to get satisfied with your business or products. That's why marketing is very important
 
A business can grow without traditional marketing, but it usually needs something else to drive that growth. Word of mouth is powerful if your product or service is really good. People will tell their friends and family, and that can bring in customers without you spending money on ads.
 
If you are talking about paid ads and fancy campaigns, then yes, some businesses grow without those. But if you think about marketing as any way of getting customers to notice you, then no business grows without it. Even just having a sign outside your shop or telling people what you do is a form of marketing.
 
Most businesses need to actively reach out to potential customers in some way. That doesn't always mean expensive marketing campaigns though. You could grow through partnerships, networking, or just being really active in your community. These methods work but they take time and consistent effort.
 
Marketing isn't just about selling things, it's about making sure people know you are an option when they need what you offer. Without it, you are invisible to most potential customers. You might get some growth from random sources, but it won't be consistent or sustainable.
 
The poster above me has said it all. Business will barely survive if there is no marketing. Marketing will make it easier for the business owners to connect with his audience. And there is no sales without connection. This means business owners cannot do without doing one or two forms of marketing.
 
If people really like a product or service, they tell their friends, family, or even post about it, and that slowly brings in new customers. For example, a small food spot or barber shop can become popular just because customers keep recommending it.

That said, word of mouth is still a kind of marketing, just informal. Without any promotion or visibility, a business can stay stuck in a small circle and struggle to grow beyond that. In today's competitive world, it's hard to rely only on luck or organic discovery.
