Ask Are too many Upwork jobs receiving more proposals than necessary?

Some job posts on Upwork get way more proposals than they really need. A simple task can pull in over fifty responses within hours, which makes it hard for clients to pick and even harder for freelancers to stand out. This kind of rush can waste time on both sides, since most people never even get a reply back. Do you think Upwork should find a way to control how many proposals a single job post can receive?

Yes the truth is that the majority of the people are sending proposal to all the available jobs on the platform. So it's like there are more connecting few available jobs on the freelance platform and this make it more competitive than ever before. This is the reason why I decided to start sending out proposal
