Basically, you earn a set amount when you make a new thread or reply to someone. Extra replies from other people don't magically give you more points. So even if your post gets tons of replies, your payout stays the same as when you first posted. It's kind of like getting paid for dropping a message, not for how popular it gets. Of course, popular threads might get more attention and clicks, but in terms of actual BMF points, more replies equates to the same reward.
