Reporting spam or scam posts is one of the ways to earn points, and the reward amount can change depending on how serious or helpful the report is. Some members may choose to focus mainly on this task instead of writing posts or reviews. It would be interesting to know if there are members who earn most or all of their rewards only from reporting spam. Has anyone managed to build a steady income through this method alone, or is it usually better to combine it with other earning activities on the forum?

Reporting spam is usually just a volunteer thing, or part of a bigger job like moderation or keeping the site safe. Some places give tiny rewards, points, or badges for flagging stuff, but that's not real money. The only way people get paid for it is if it's their actual job, like working in fraud prevention or content moderation. There are also some bug-bounty-style programs that pay if you catch something serious, but everyday spam? Nope
