Ask Are proposal limits good for freelancers?

Some platforms now limit how many proposals a person can send in a month. I think this pushes freelancers to write better proposals instead of sending many weak ones just to grab attention. But new freelancers with little experience may struggle to get enough tries to prove themselves. This makes me wonder if such limits truly help everyone equally. Are proposal limits good for freelancers, or do they mostly favor people who already have strong profiles?

The limit on the proposal you can send in the freelance marketplace also limit your potential to reach more prospect after you have exhausted them. This is the reason why I only say that freelance should look for ways to make more money by attracting clients from the outside of the freelance marketplace.
