Ask Are BMF affiliate commission higher for premium membership referrals?

I don't really know how it happened and why it happened but I noticed that a friend of mine has higher commission rate more than me. Though he's a premium member. I don't know if that is the reason why he has more commission rates. Later, I confirmed from the support that the being a premium member can earn you more money.
