I'm feeling a little unsure about what to do next. I started my online store a few months ago and I have tried a few marketing approaches. I have run small ad campaigns and posted on social media.

I notice that some products sell well while others barely move. I have tested different pricing and descriptions to see what works best.

I keep thinking about growth and how to scale effectively. Should you focus on product range or marketing when scaling?

Marketing should probably be your priority if you already have products that sell. Adding more products won't help much if not enough people are seeing your store in the first place. I'd recommend picking your best sellers and running targeted campaigns specifically for those items.

Your product has to be solid as people won't stick around for junk but killer marketing is what actually gets eyes on it. Early on, pick a couple of standout products and figure out what marketing clicks. Once that's working, you can slowly add more stuff without losing your edge. It is also fundamental that if there is no demand scaling dies so marketing first then range follow.
You can have the best product range, but if no one knows, it stays in inventory. So the best to use that revenue and feedback to expand range intelligently. Get 1 product story to scale, then build the aisle.
