Upwork feels like a completely different place compared to a few years ago. The number of freelancers has grown a lot, and clients now have more options than ever, which makes standing out harder. Some people still do very well there, especially those who have strong reviews and a clear niche, but newer freelancers often struggle to land their first few jobs. Have you found Upwork worth your time in 2026?

I would rather say that it is to completive right now to pitch your tent as a freelancer on the platform. The platform has a lot of seasoned freelancers who have been on the platform for a long period of time and they have gathered enough momentum for their brands.
