Splash pages are often designed as gateway pages with minimal content, usually featuring a simple welcome message or branding before directing visitors to the main site. From an SEO perspective, these pages offer little valuable content or keywords, which search engines prioritize for ranking. They may also slow down user experience and increase bounce rates, negatively affecting SEO performance. Instead, focusing on optimizing the main affiliate page with high-quality, relevant content, proper keywords, fast loading times, and good user experience is more effective for boosting SEO traffic. In summary, splash pages rarely contribute positively to SEO. Do you agree with this sentiment?

I am not sure adding a splash page would really help increase SEO traffic. From what I understand, search engines look for useful content, keywords, and good structure. If the splash page does not have those things, it might not help much. It could even slow things down, especially if it blocks people from getting to the main content quickly. I think it depends on how the splash page is built. If it adds value and gives clear information, maybe it helps a little. But just having a splash page alone may not be enough.

Google likes pages that actually have content and load fast, and splash pages are usually just a big image or Enter Site button which is basically nothing for Google to read. They can also slow your site down, which isn't great for rankings. That said, if you make a super light, fast splash page with some real content or links, it won't kill your SEO and can help with branding. But honestly, focusing on good content and a smooth user experience is better

I don't think splash pages are very helpful for SEO. Search engines often treat them as extra clicks without much content, which can reduce the value of your main pages. For affiliate sites, they can actually slow visitors down and increase bounce rates if not done carefully. Most of the time, you're better off optimizing the actual content pages and navigation rather than adding a splash page that doesn't provide real information.
