Ask Why do I need digital marketing strategies instead of just posting randomly?

When a friend asked me that, why can't he just be posting randomly instead of It took me a while before I can reply him. Not that I didn't know what to tell him but I wanted to give him some analogies to buttress my explanation.

Digital Marketing goes beyond just posting. In fact, it is a posting done strategically. It is done with taking into cognizance the customers. While digital marketing is done to ensure to retain customers, normal posts can be done for just a casual reason.

A strategy will help you know where your target audience are and what kind of content they actually click on. Instead of throwing your time and energy at six different ideas that flop, you focus all your effort on one or two things you know have a good chance of working.

You don't post randomly. You cannot just cook anyhow when you are expecting visitors to feast on your food. You need to make sure that you cook what your guest and visitors will like to eat. If you cook anyhow, you may see no audience that will eat the food for you.

I think strategies matter because they give your posts a clear direction. When you just post randomly, it's hard to know what is working or not. With a plan, you can focus on what brings results and stop wasting time on content that doesn't reach the right people.
