To be honest, management of both businesses should be the same, especially if the business owners want to have outstanding results. Unfortunately, most business owners, especially the online, don't always want to use the same energy while promoting their offline business. This has really affected the business drastically. Promoting offline, like handing out flyers or doing local ads, is more personal and hands-on. You can see and feel the impact right away. Online, though, you've got to deal with stuff like SEO, social media, and all those digital tools, which can be a lot to juggle. Plus, the online space is super crowded, so it's harder to stand out. A lot of owners stick with what they know, like old-school methods, because they're comfortable with them
 
May be you are just generalizing. Though online businesses don't really need much promotion because many people are privileged to see the product. Unlike the offline products thar can only be seen by the people around where the business is situated. Though there are some business owners that promote online business well as well.
 
They all need constant updates and figuring out algorithms is a headache. Offline stuff like flyers, local events, or just good old word-of-mouth feels way easier and more real. Plus, online has its own risks. Meeting people face-to-face builds trust way faster too. I notice the same as well. Most business owners don't always put in more energy in their offline businesses just like they will do to their online businesses. Business should be given the same attention whether it is online or it is online business. This is when the business can be successful
