The placement of a call to action (CTA) in an email is crucial for maximizing engagement. It's generally recommended to position your primary CTA above the fold, ensuring that recipients see it without having to scroll. This increases visibility and encourages immediate interaction. Also placing CTAs toward the bottom or to the right of the content can also be effective, as people typically read from top to bottom and left to right. This strategic placement aligns with natural reading patterns, making it easier for recipients to find and click on the CTA after engaging with the email's content.

From my experience, CTAs work best when placed both at the beginning and end of an email. The first CTA grabs attention immediately, while a second one at the bottom captures readers who scroll through the content. You can also sprinkle smaller, contextual CTAs within the body if your email is longer, but don't overdo it or it may feel cluttered.

That way, the reader knows what's going on and is ready to do something about it. Keep the CTA simple and to the point, like "Grab your deal now" or "Sign up today." It's key to make it stand out, maybe with a bold button or a bright link, so the reader can't miss it. The goal is to make it super clear what you want them to do next, whether it's buying something, joining a list, or getting in touch.

That's where it feels the most natural. By then, the person has read what you had to say and actually understands why you're reaching out. If you throw the CTA in too early, it can feel kind of random or even pushy. Instead, explain your point first, keep things clear and simple, and then wrap it up with what you want them to do. Keep it short and super clear.
