I don't think so: most of the e-mail that I stared were collectively send and I never got to reply to those, and all those that I now see as priority are send individually to me, and the filter sorts very well between those that I should reply to rapidly, and those that I won't (including different messages from my parents' only e-mail address—that one is actually almost creepy when I think of it).
