Most people do not always want to promote goods and services that are of high niche. They may have their own reasons for this but personally I do see it as because they are not that ready to go through the stress of finding the right platforms to promote their products and as well avoiding competition.

Promoting less niche products has really reduced the competition than are faced by those that promote products with high niche.

If you are contended wirb earning just a little portions of commission, you can easily go for this type of affiliate marketing. Less competitive means there won't be many audience for such a product. And since there is no competition, there may not be much commission for the business.

When there aren't a ton of people selling the same thing, it's way easier to get noticed and actually make sales. You can become the go-to person for that product and build some loyal followers. You may but be making as much as you want. You can only be making from the commission of the small people that are patronizing the products. However, this has what someone that is new to affiliate marketing or someone that is into affiliate marketing for a part-time should be focusing on.
