Members of the community can be punished for violating the rules. The admin can remove topics that are not relevant and also remove the earning from these irrelevant topics. Also, it is possible for the admin not to pay if the section writing in doesn't attract payment.

The greatest penalty can be banning which can happen if a member commits a grievous offence. Unlike some get paid to post websites like Trendri, BMF doesn't remove points for offence.

There's no points system or automatic punishments just for being inactive or messing up once. That said, mods definitely step in if you break the rules. Stuff like spamming, posting garbage, or causing drama can get you a warning, and if you keep pushing it, you could get suspended or banned. It's pretty much common-sense moderation. Follow the rules, don't be annoying, and you'll be fine in general
