An individual deciding to start a business often comes from a mix of inspiration and necessity. You might feel unfulfilled in your current job, notice a gap in the market, or have a skill or passion you want to turn into income. Simply create a business by solving problems and providing the lasting solution. Financial freedom, the desire for independence and be your own boss, or simply wanting to create something of your own can also be strong motivators. If you find yourself constantly thinking of ideas or longing for flexibility, it might be a sign to take the leap. How did you know it was time to start your business? Share your experiences and insights!

Maybe you're tired of the 9-to-5 life or annoyed by a problem that doesn't have a good fix. If people around you keep asking for your help, advice, or stuff you make, that's a good hint too. Loving the idea isn't enough, but if you're excited about it, see people actually needing it, and are okay with taking some risks, it's probably worth giving it a shot and building something of your own.

A big clue is when you love doing something so much that you'd do it for free. If friends keep asking for your help or you're always messing around with ideas, that's another hint. Money's nice, but passion and persistence matter more. Also, if the idea of working for someone else every day makes you cringe, that's a sign too. Starting a business isn't about perfect timing, but it's about feeling ready to just go for it.

Your instinct will surely tell you. You will have the feeling. You will be eager to solve problems that you notice in your surroundings. You will know you have the required capital as well. And also, you will know that it is the right time for you to get the business done.

You keep complaining about problems and then immediately thinking of better ways to fix them. Your brain won't clock out, and you're Googling ideas at midnight "just for fun." The idea of building something for yourself feels exciting, even if it's scary. You're okay figuring things out as you go, messing up, and learning the hard way. Having a boss or waiting for permission starts to feel annoying instead of safe. You don't need to feel ready or brave.

You don't start a business except you are convinced. How will you be convinced? You will be convinced when you discover that you have all what it takes to start a successful business. You need to make sure that you are right physical and emotional ready to start any business.
