No one can actually say it is not possible running a business without marketing but everybody would admit that it is always difficult doing that. Running business without marketing may make the business seems not planned for. In fact, the business may not have enough customers that it needs to have to promote it.

To the best of my understanding, I don't really know how business can be run without any marketing strategy. What do you think?

There is no ways you can run a business without marketing. Marketing doesn't only mean advertisement. It means knowing what your audience want and channeling your products around that. So there is no way you will be successful with your business except you know what your audience want

Word of mouth is powerful, especially when customers feel treated well and get real value. Building good relationships and being reliable helps people trust you and come back again. Knowing the right people can spread your business naturally. Even casual social media posts or everyday conversations can help without feeling like marketing.
