Basically, advertising is all about making you think life will be awesome
 
Advertising truly is an act of lying. Most advertisings are filled with lies from the advertisers. They will tell the most exciting lies and expect the audience to buy the lies. That is why it is always advisable to do some verification before you buy what are advertised.
 
Ads focus on the best parts of a product, leaving out any flaws or downsides. Like, beauty products might promise perfect skin, but they don't tell you it doesn't work for everyone. Car ads show the fun of driving, but skip over the stuff like high repair costs. It's not that ads are totally fake, but they're all about selling us a dream and making us think we need stuff we might not.
 
While advertising may seem art of lying, there are some advertising that truly reflects the true nature of what the products stand for. It only takes the audience to thoroughly do their findings to know the ones that are just deceiving and the ones that truly represents what they claim.
 
They look huge and juicy, but the one you actually get? Not so much. Ads hype the good stuff and hide the bad, using catchy slogans, cool visuals, and emotional vibes to make you want stuff you didn't even know you wanted. It's not always straight-up lying, more like bending the truth to make things seem awesome. Basically, ads are selling a story, not always the real product. Sneaky, but also kinda genius.
