It does feel like many clients are pulling back and being more careful about who they hire and how much they spend. Some businesses that used to hire freelancers regularly have gone quiet, and the projects that do come through tend to be smaller than before. It is hard to tell if this is a short term shift or something more permanent in how companies think about working with independent people. Have you personally noticed a change in how often clients reach out?
