You basically have to log in and check your dashboard to see if your balance went up after posting or doing stuff on the site. Some folks mention it updates pretty quickly, but there's no instant alert or anything like that. The site does send notifications for other stuff, like when your uploads or actions go through, but not for every single dollar you make.
