I don't pay myself a huge amount, just enough to cover my bills and daily stuff. That way, the business still has room to grow. It also makes taxes and paperwork way easier since everything's more organized. If the business has a really good month, I might take a little extra as a bonus or owner's draw, but I try not to go overboard. Basically, it's just about being smart with the money and making sure both me and the business are taken care of
