Some sites basically treat a good update like fresh content, so if people check it out again, you might score more rewards. Other platforms don't work that way though as they only reward the original post, and edits won't change anything except how it reads. So really, it depends on the rules of whatever place you're posting on. If they say updated posts can earn again, cool. If not, then no extra rewards.
