Marketing is the bigger picture, while advertising is just one tool inside it. Marketing is about understanding people, shaping the offer, building trust, and creating a full experience around a product, whereas advertising is simply how you get attention and promote it. In real life, good marketing often makes advertising easier (and cheaper) because the message already fits what people want, while relying only on ads without that foundation usually doesn't work well long term.

Marketing is the whole process of understanding people, creating something they need, and building a way to reach them. Advertising is just one part of it, mainly about promoting the product. Marketing is bigger because it also includes research, pricing, and how you deliver value.
