Ask How do you choose the right PPC platform for your business?

Choosing the right PPC platform starts with knowing where your audience spends time online. Search ads work well when people are already looking for solutions, while social media ads help create interest. A business selling services may do better on search platforms, while visual products may perform better on social media. Budget size also matters because some platforms cost more per click. Testing with small amounts helps before scaling up. The goal is not to be everywhere but to be where attention already exists. Which platform do you think fits most small businesses best?

Your product type decides this more than anything else. Selling something people actively search for? Google Ads makes sense because those visitors already want what you have. Selling something people do not know they need yet? Facebook or Instagram work better because you can show them why they should care.

Most people pick platforms based on what they heard works, not what actually fits their business. Everyone says Google Ads is the gold standard, so they start there without thinking. Then they wonder why their visual product gets no traction on a text-based search platform.

Where your competitors advertise tells you something, but not everything. Just because everyone in your industry uses one platform does not mean it is the best choice. Maybe they are all there because that is what they tried first and they never bothered testing alternatives.

Talk to them & have them go through their (typically free) audit of your account. You should know from that first sit down if their expertise is legit but, more importantly, if their attitude, both professional & personal, meshes with yours. There are plenty of "experts" out there, and all of them can get you the results your business wants, so ultimately, if all things are equal, wouldn't you instead work with people who are actually passionate about what they do & not just looking at your business as another retainer?

Engage them in a conversation to conduct their (usually complimentary) audit of your business account. This initial meeting will reveal their expertise and if their professional and personal demeanor align with yours. While many "experts" can deliver the desired outcomes, it's better to collaborate with those who genuinely care about their work and your business.

The best way, is to first think about where your customers are actually spending time online. Different PPC platforms attract different types of people. If your audience is actively searching for solutions, search ads can work well. If they are more passive, social ads might be a better fit.
