Though I prefer rotationl leadership. I always like it when choosing leadership in a group coaching program would be based on equality rather than equity. Both the most active and the least active member should be given the chance to direct the class affairs.

Others may differ with me. Then prefer looking out for some qualities that would make them select some set of people as their leaders. This most time brings decorum but not promoting unity.

It's great that you value equality in leadership selection for your group coaching program. Allowing all members, regardless of their activity level, an opportunity to lead can indeed promote inclusivity and diverse perspectives within the group. On the other hand, some may prioritize specific qualities when selecting leaders to maintain order and coherence within the program.

You also get a sense of who's really serious about improving, so your sessions aren't wasted. Plus, you can spot common problems and tweak your program to actually help, instead of just guessing. It basically makes everything smoother, saves time, and makes sure everyone gets something out of it.

First, they've got to be good communicators by being someone who actually listens, not just talks. I love it when they're empathetic and genuinely care about helping others grow. Flexibility is huge too, because stuff always comes up. I also notice energy and enthusiasm; a leader's vibe can totally lift the group. Basically, I pick people who others trust, get inspired by, and who can handle both wins and mess-ups
