As a social media marketer, it is either your posts perform optimally or it doesn't. Good news is that, whether the posts perform maximally or not, they are useful. Social media marketers need to analyse the two posts, to know what does each of the post lack, and what does one need.

The strength in the one that perform high would be used in energizing the weak ones and vice-versa. What do you think of this?

Low-performing posts are still valuable because they give you data, not just results. I usually don't just "ignore" them I check things like hook strength, timing, format, and audience engagement to understand what went wrong. Then I compare them with high-performing posts to spot patterns and improve future content. It's less about fixing one post and more about learning what consistently works for your audience.

Maybe nobody saw it, maybe the caption was boring, or maybe the timing was off. Sometimes it's just not the kind of thing people care about. If I think it can still work, I might tweak it a bit or try posting it again later. Other times, I just take the lesson and move on. I also look at my better posts to see what they did differently so I can do more of that next time. Basically, it's less about stressing over one bad post

Sometimes a post performs badly simply because it did not get enough visibility. In that case, it can be worth updating the caption, changing the image, or presenting the same idea in a different format and posting it again later. A video might work better than a graphic, or a shorter message might get more attention than a long one.

I do not delete low-performing posts right away. First, I try to understand why they did not perform well. Sometimes the posting time was wrong, the caption was weak, or the audience simply was not interested in that topic. I usually look at the data, learn from it, and use those lessons in future posts. Every low-performing post can teach something useful if you pay attention to the results.
