Nofollow tags tell search engines not to pass ranking value through a link. For affiliate links, it is usually better to use nofollow because you are linking for business reasons, not to recommend content naturally. This does not hurt your SEO. In fact, it keeps your site safe from penalties. You still get traffic and commissions, but search engines understand the purpose of the link. It is a simple step that protects your site in the long run. Do you apply nofollow to all links or only some?
 
Just like the poster has said, you are not writing contents when you are on affiliate marketing. What you are doing is that you're promoting a particular product. With that, you need to be using nofollow tag or else you may be hit by Google penalty for that
 
I do not think every link should be nofollow. Internal links usually need to stay normal because they help search engines understand your site structure and improve rankings. Nofollow is more useful for affiliate links, sponsored posts, or anything that is clearly promotional.
