I'm putting together an online course and I keep hearing that storytelling can make lessons more engaging. I like the idea, but I honestly don't know how to use it the right way. I'm used to just writing content and listing facts.
Should I tell stories at the beginning of each module? Or should I spread them throughout the lessons? I also wonder if the stories have to be real or if examples and made-up situations work too.
I want students to stay interested and remember what they learn. But I don't want to force stories in and make it awkward.
How can storytelling be woven into the structure of online course modules?
