People got used to it fast, and now, many actually like it better because they can talk from their couch. You're right, things really change when the world changes. I thought "sleep sounds" apps would be a waste of time. I couldn't imagine someone paying just to hear rain or soft music. But they're huge now, and people even subscribe every month. I guess in times of stress, people want calm more than ever. That taught me not to laugh at any idea too early. What seems small or weird today might turn into something big tomorrow if it connects with people emotionally.
 
I thought pet subscription boxes were stupid expensive when they started. Who pays $30 a month for dog toys and treats? Turns out pretty much every pet owner during covid lockdown. People went crazy buying stuff for their pets when they were stuck at home. Now affiliates promoting pet products are making serious money because pet owners never stopped spending. Some of these people buy more stuff for their dogs than themselves.
 
For me, I didn't think the pet subscription box niche would go very far. I assumed that people wouldn't spend extra money on monthly toys or treats for their pets when they could just buy them at the store. But I was so wrong pet owners love spoiling their pets, and the convenience factor really won them over. Affiliates who tapped into this market early are still doing great because pets are such a consistent and emotional niche. It just goes to show that personal assumptions don't always match reality.
 
One niche that looked strange at first but became very successful is the productivity and study setup niche. Things like desk accessories, LED lights, keyboards, and workspace organization seemed too simple in the beginning, but people became very interested in improving their work and study environments.
 
Another niche that looked doubtful at first was remote work tools. Before remote jobs became more common, many people did not think software for online meetings or team collaboration would grow so fast. Then work habits changed, and suddenly those tools became part of daily life for businesses and freelancers everywhere.
