When I started, it was mostly for extras things like subscriptions, small splurges, or saving for trips. But as my affiliate earnings grew, I began covering bills with it, like my phone or internet, which feels amazing! It's nice to know those expenses are taken care of with income I've built online. These days, I try to reinvest a portion back into tools or courses to keep growing, but I still enjoy using a bit of it for something fun now and then.
A lot of people probably start by treating affiliate income like extra money because earnings can move up and down so much in the beginning.
