The weirdest place I've worked was probably a bathroom at an airport during a layover. It wasn't ideal, but I needed to upload something quickly, and it was the only spot with decent Wi-Fi and no noise. I've also worked from a beach (which sounds nice but is actually chaotic with sand and wind) and even a laundry room when the house was too loud. Freelancing definitely teaches you to adapt.

My roommate was driving us cross-country for a move, and I had a deadline looming. So there I was, cross-legged on a sleeping bag wedged between a lamp and a box of cookbooks, laptop balanced on my knees. Every bump meant re-typing half a sentence, and the truck's hum was my Zoom soundtrack. I answered emails while dodging flying coat hangers. Did I look professional? Absolutely not. But somehow, I finished the report. Now a coffee shop seems almost boring.
There are moments when online work ends up happening in strange places because affiliate marketing mostly needs a phone or laptop and internet connection. Once work becomes flexible, almost any quiet corner can suddenly turn into a temporary workspace, even places that were never meant for working.
