I've had my affiliate links up for several months, but despite consistent effort, I've seen very little engagement—only a few clicks and no revenue at all. My content typically gets between 3,000 and 10,000 views per upload, so I expected at least a small amount of earnings by now. It's been frustrating trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm in the Tech/Apple niche, which I assumed had strong potential for monetization. I'm starting to wonder if certain types of products perform better or if there's a secret to where and how you place your links—like in pinned comments or within video descriptions. I'd really appreciate any insight or advice on what actually works in this space.

With those view numbers, you should definitely be seeing some conversions if your audience is genuinely interested in buying. The problem might be that your viewers are in "research mode" rather than "buying mode." Try creating more buyer-intent content like "best budget options," "before you buy" guides, or comparison videos between products at different price points. Also, track which videos get the most clicks on your affiliate links and create more content similar to those topics. Sometimes it's not about the products you're promoting but whether your audience is actually ready to purchase when they watch your content.

Making money with Amazon affiliate links is all about creating helpful content that attracts the right audience. For example, I write product reviews, gift guides, or "best of" lists, and then share my affiliate links within the content. When someone clicks the link and buys something (even if it's not the product I linked), I earn a small commission. It works best if you target specific products people are already searching for. SEO and promoting your content on social media or blogs help bring in more clicks too.

Most people start by making a simple blog about one specific thing they like. If you write honest reviews, readers will trust what you say. It takes time to get traffic from search engines, but once people start clicking your links, the small commissions begin to add up every month.

I think what works well is creating content that helps people decide what to buy. Things like product reviews, comparisons, or "best of" lists can guide users. When the content answers real questions, people trust it more and are more likely to click the affiliate link.
