An affiliate program is when a company creates its own system to pay people for promoting its products or services. For example, a business might offer a commission for each sale made through a special link you share. It's usually managed directly by the company, so you work closely with their team. On the other hand, an affiliate network acts like a middleman, connecting multiple companies with affiliates. Networks, like ShareASale or CJ Affiliate, host many programs, making it easier to find different offers in one place. They handle tracking, payments, and links, but you might pay a fee to join. Programs are more direct, while networks offer more options but add a layer of complexity. Choosing depends on whether you want simplicity or access to many brands. What are your thoughts on this?

For me, the main difference is who manages things. With an affiliate program, the company runs it directly. With a network, a third-party handles tracking, approval, and payment for many brands. I like using networks because I can promote different products without signing up all over again. But sometimes, direct programs pay better since there's no middleman. So I use both depending on what I'm promoting.

The difference lies in scope and structure. An affiliate program is offered by a single company, where you promote their products/services directly (e.g., Amazon Associates). An affiliate network, like ClickBank or Rakuten, is a platform that hosts multiple affiliate programs from various companies. Networks make it easier to find and manage programs in one place, while individual programs require you to sign up and manage everything directly with the company. Both have their benefits depending on your goals.

An affiliate program is usually run by one company that wants to promote its own product. You sign up directly with them and promote that single brand. An affiliate network is more like a middle platform where many companies list their offers, so you can choose from different products in one place.
