This can tempt someone to check dashboards or adjust links even during gatherings like birthdays, weddings, or holiday dinners. While it can feel necessary, it sometimes leads to divided attention and makes family members feel ignored. On the other hand, skipping updates during a busy period can mean missing opportunities, especially if a promotion or campaign is running. Some people try to balance this by setting aside a few minutes privately, while others prefer to leave all work until later. Is it better to stay fully present at family events and risk missing updates, or is checking in briefly acceptable if it does not disturb anyone? How do you think others see it when work mixes with family time?
 
Yes, I've done it a few times, especially during a big campaign or sale. I tried to be quick and not make it obvious, but I could tell it wasn't the right thing to do. It's hard to balance work and family, especially in affiliate marketing, where things move fast, but I've learned to prioritize family events. If it's not urgent, I leave it for later. Family time is special, and I don't want them to feel like work comes first.
 
You are supposed to be chilling with family, but your phone is right there buzzing with stats, clicks, or someone asking for a link update. So you end up doing that sneaky just one quick check every few minutes. Sometimes you're half listening to conversations while thinking about a campaign or a promo that's running. If it's a busy sale day, it gets even worse because you don't fully relax. The smart move people usually try is setting things up ahead of time, so they're not glued to their screen.
 
Yes, I have found myself doing that before, and from my own experience it is not really the best situation. I remember sitting with family but still checking messages, tracking clicks, or trying to fix something quickly, and it made me feel like I was physically present but mentally elsewhere.
